**** SATURDAY, SEPT. 11th **** 2:00-5:00 PM CHILDREN'S ANIMAL ART ACUTION for the non-profit called One More Generation which is collecting funds to save animals near extinction for "one more generation" and beyond. The acronym is OMG since that is what the kids keep saying when they witness senseless killing of wild animals on TV. This non-profit was started by two young children in Fayette County , Olivia and Carter Reis. After watching PBS programs on the dwindling numbers of wild animals (some near extinction) they really wanted to DO something. At first they saved their birthday and Christmas money and sent it to an organization that protects cheetahs. Then their father helped them start a website. Now they are involved with Zoo Atlanta, Fern Bank, sending supplies to help clean oiled birds in the Gulf and have linked with several other organizations. Needless to say, they are getting national recognition. So please come and support these very hard working youngsters! For more information go to www.onemoregeneration.org or call ArtWorks at 678-545-0275.
